Anadolu Efes Istanbul continued with an effort to keep the championship-winning roster together by signing a one-year extension with forward Tolga Gecim, the club announced on Wednesday. Gecim (2.06 meters, 25 years old) appeared in six regular-season games last season, playing limited minutes. He had more opportunities in the Turkish League, where he averaged 3.9 points, 1.9 assists and 1.6 rebounds, helping Efes win the title. Gecim previously played with Banvit Bandirma, the club where he made his 7DAYS EuroCup debut as an 18-year-old and appeared in 34 games in the competition between 2014 and 2016. Before that, he had played two seasons on loan from Banvit to Bandirma Kirmizi, his only other team, in the Turkish second division.
