Welsh star
Amy Boulden made the biggest jump of the week rising 68 places to fifth in the latest
Race to Costa Del Sol standings, courtesy of a three-shot victory at the 2020
VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open.

The 2014
LET ‘Rookie of the Year’, who reclaimed her card at Q-School earlier in the
year, not only captured her first career LET victory but secured her card for
the next two seasons.

Winning by
three strokes at Golfpark Holzhäusern after a commanding display which featured
a final round of 64 (-8), the 27-year-old collected the €30,000 winner’s check
and 150 Race to Costa Del Sol points.

Extending
her lead atop the leaderboard, Emily Kristine Pedersen posted another top-three
finish in Switzerland to pull further clear of Belgium’s Manon De Roey in
second place.

The
big-hitting Dane has nearly double the points of her nearest rival with 482
compared to De Roey’s 243 and is close to making the year-long race a competition
for second with an unassailable lead.

Sweden’s
Julia Engstrom, who led the race for much of the early stages of the year,
regained third from Spain’s Azahara Munoz with a T18 place finish while local
talent Kim Metraux jumped 32 spots to 18th, courtesy of a third
place finish in her home open.

Australia’s
Stephanie Kyriacou upped the ante for ‘Rookie of the Year’ spoils, rising 41
places to eighth place, just two spots behind Alice Hewson who won the Investec
South African Women’s Open earlier in the season.

Next up on
the race is the Lacoste Ladies Open De France at Golf Du Medoc.
